Why accounts still get flagged after you bought the antidetect browser
If you read the forums where people actually discuss this, the single loudest complaint is not that a product is expensive or badly built. It is: I bought the antidetect browser, I bought residential proxies, and I still got banned.
That complaint is usually correct, and it is usually not the browser's fault. It is a category-wide marketing failure. Products in this space, ours included until we rewrote our own site, imply that a coherent fingerprint is the whole problem. It is one layer out of five.
Here is what actually causes it, in rough order of how often it is the real cause.
1. Account history you inherited
Bought, farmed, or previously-actioned accounts arrive with history. Platforms retain device, IP, payment and behavioural links long after the surface looks clean. A perfect new fingerprint on an account already linked to twenty others is a clean device visiting a known cluster.
This is the most common cause and the one no tool addresses. Nothing you install changes what the account already did.
2. Linkage between your own accounts
The classic self-inflicted one. Each identity has its own fingerprint and its own proxy, and then:
- they share a recovery email domain, or a phone number pattern
- they share a payment method
- they were all created within an hour, in the same order, with names from the same generator
- they all follow the same pages, in the same sequence, on day one
- they were all first accessed from your home IP before you set the proxies up
Platforms cluster on any of these. Fingerprint isolation does nothing if the accounts announce their relationship through the data you typed into them.
3. Behaviour
Scripts are fast, precise, and tireless. They click the exact centre of buttons, never hesitate, never scroll past something and come back, and never get distracted for four minutes.
Anti-bot systems score mouse paths, scroll velocity, keystroke timing and dwell time. This layer is entirely on the operator. No browser makes a script behave like a person, and adding random delays is a weak imitation of a real behavioural model.
4. Proxy quality, and proxy binding
Two separate failures often conflated.
Quality: residential does not mean clean. You are renting an address others have also rented, and if one of them burned it against your exact target last week, you inherited that.
Binding: far more common. Traffic exits in Frankfurt while the browser reports a New York timezone and a US locale. That contradiction is cheaper to detect than the IP itself, and it is checkable server-side without running any JavaScript. Paying for residential and then leaking your own timezone wastes the money entirely.
5. Fingerprint problems, which do exist
Last, not because it does not matter, but because it is the layer people have usually already addressed by the time they are complaining.
Real fingerprint failures are mostly contradiction rather than rarity: a Windows user agent with a macOS font list, a WebGL renderer no real card ships, an audio hash shared with a thousand other profiles. And the temporal one almost nobody tests: does the profile present the same canvas hash, WebGL renderer and font list after a restart? A returning user whose hardware changed overnight is a stronger signal than most single-page tells.
What this means for what you buy
An antidetect browser genuinely solves layer 5, helps with layer 4 by binding the proxy to the identity, and does nothing for layers 1 through 3.
If you are being flagged and you have not audited 1 through 3, changing browsers will not help, and the next vendor's marketing will imply otherwise.
We would rather say that plainly than take the sale and receive the refund request. It is also why our own detector results are published as dated runs rather than a permanent claim: results move, and a badge saying undetectable would be a lie with a long shelf life.
Diagnosing rather than guessing
- Blocked before the page renders: network or TLS layer. Proxy problem. A fingerprint change will not help.
- Page loads, then a challenge: fingerprint or behaviour. Check coherence first, then slow down.
- Everything passes but the account is actioned days later: history and linkage. No tool fixes this.
The full breakdown is in how anti-bot systems decide you are a bot, and the layer-5 specifics are in the consistency checklist.
